the eggsperiment
In the experiment, which my team the egg that could was successful, we employed 4 out of the 5 steps in management planning. we set a goal of making sure the egg survive the plunge from the top of the desk. we may have bypassed the determining the resources as our resources were fixed. i do not feel this hurt us as we had ample materials for the challenge. we did have several ideas as to how to develop a system to keep the egg from breaking. we then combined all of the ideas and made a plan of who should do what as far as building the case. we then implemented it as accomplished our goal. i feel my team did very well and we could not have done anything differently. we managed to through our ideas quickly and decided what would work best and planned how to implement the plan.

Good to know that both of our team's egg managed to survive. Due to your accomplishment, you might feel that missing one of the steps is okay, but I think it is important for us to include all the steps. Maybe we manage to succeed for this small activity but when it comes to larger project, we might need more time and effort to plan, therefore I believe all 5 steps are important.
ReplyDeleteYou did a good job. It's interesting that you employed only 4 steps in the planning process and your team succeed. Our group also went through all the planning steps except the third one, and we did not win. Even though your group succeed I think that it's important to go through all the steps in the planning process.
